Privacy Policy

How SKWEE collects, uses and protects your personal information.

This Privacy Policy explains how SKWEE (“we”, “us”, “our”), operated by SKWII RETAIL PRIVATE LIMITED, collects, uses and safeguards your information when you visit skwee.in, create an account, sign in, or place an order with us. Where we rely on your consent - for the optional analytics, session-recording and advertising tools described below - we ask for it separately, and you can say no and still use the whole store.

Last updated: 14 October 2026.

Information we collect

  • Contact & order details - name, email, phone number, billing and shipping address.
  • Account information - if you create an account, the details you choose to save (such as saved addresses) and the identifiers needed to sign you in securely.
  • Payment information - processed securely by our payment partner; we do not store your full card details.
  • Usage data - how you browse and shop on our site, collected through the analytics tools described under Analytics, cookies and session recording below.
  • How you reached us - if you allow analytics: the campaign tags on the link you followed, the website or app that sent you, the first page you saw on our site and your device type (mobile, tablet or desktop), plus, if you also allow advertising, the ad click ID in that link (such as gclid or fbclid). We save these with the orders, enquiries and checkout details you send us; see Analytics, cookies and session recording below.

Signing in with Google

SKWEE lets you sign in with your Google Account so you don’t need a separate password. When you choose “Sign in with Google”, Google shares a limited set of profile information with us so we can create and secure your SKWEE account. Specifically, we receive:

  • your name;
  • your email address;
  • your profile picture (if available); and
  • your Google Account’s unique identifier.

We use this information solely to authenticate you, create and manage your SKWEE account, link it to your orders, and communicate with you about your account and purchases. We do not receive your Google password, and we request only the basic sign-in (email and profile) permissions - no access to your Gmail, Google Drive, contacts or other Google services.

SKWEE’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. You can revoke SKWEE’s access to your Google Account at any time from your Google Account permissions page.

How we use your information

  • To create, secure and manage your account and authenticate your sign-in.
  • To process and deliver your orders and provide customer support.
  • If you start checking out but don’t finish, to keep your bag and the contact details you entered so our team can help you complete the order.
  • To send order updates and, with your consent, marketing communications.
  • To improve our products, website and shopping experience.
  • If you allow analytics, to understand which marketing channels lead to orders and enquiries.
  • To prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations.

Sharing your information

We never sell your personal data. Payment processors, courier partners, and authentication and messaging tools receive it only to fulfil your order and run our business, and may use it only to provide those services to us. Unless you turn them off, the analytics, session-recording and advertising providers described below also receive data, and Google, Microsoft and Meta may use it for their own purposes under their own privacy policies.

Analytics, cookies and session recording

We use a few essential cookies and similar storage on your device to keep your bag, keep you signed in and remember your privacy choice. The store cannot work without them, so they are always on.

The tools below are optional and are on from your first visit unless you turn them off: all at once with Essential only, or one purpose at a time, from the notice bar when it is shown on your first visit, and you can change this at any time from Cookie preferences at the bottom of any page. You can shop and check out whatever you choose.

  • Analytics - Google Analytics 4 (Google): pages you view (their addresses and titles) and the products on them, searches on our site, scrolling and links you click to leave our site, how you reached us, device and browser type, approximate location from your IP address, and analytics cookie IDs (_ga, kept up to 2 years) - so we can see which pages and products work. If you turn analytics off, Google Analytics still counts page views with a cookie-free signal (Google Consent Mode): Google receives the page address, your browser type and your IP address, but no cookie or ID is stored on your device.
  • Analytics - how you reached us (SKWEE, on our own systems): the campaign tags on the link you followed (utm_source, utm_campaign and the like), the website or app that sent you, and the first page you saw on our site. We keep this on your device, in your browser’s storage, for up to 30 days, and when you send us an order, an enquiry or your details at checkout we save it with them, along with your device type (mobile, tablet or desktop) - never your IP address. We use it to understand which marketing channels lead to orders and enquiries. None of it is kept if you turn analytics off.
  • Session recording - Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft): a recording of your visit - the pages you open and what they show, your clicks, taps, scrolling and mouse movement - plus heatmaps, with screen size, device and browser type, approximate location from your IP address and Clarity cookie IDs (_clck, kept 1 year; _clsk, 1 day), so we can find and fix confusing or broken parts of the site. Microsoft also links this to its own browser ID (MUID), which it uses across Microsoft services, including for advertising. What you type, and your name, email, phone number and address shown on our pages, are hidden from recordings, and our sign-in, account, order-tracking and staff pages are never recorded.
  • Advertising - Meta Pixel and Conversions API (Meta Platforms): pages you view and searches on our site; products you view, save to favourites, customise (boxes, combos, gift cards), add to your bag and buy, with their names, sizes (which can show a child’s age), prices and quantities; checkouts you start and the payment method you choose; order value and order number; taps on our WhatsApp, phone and email links, contact forms you send and new accounts you create; the Facebook or Instagram ad you clicked to reach us; device and browser type; IP address; and Meta cookie IDs (_fbp and _fbc, kept 90 days). Our server also sends Meta a copy of these events, and when you place an order it sends your email, phone number, name, city, state and pincode in scrambled (hashed) form, so Meta can match your checkout and purchase to an ad. We use this to measure how our Facebook and Instagram ads perform and to show you SKWEE ads there after you have visited the store. If analytics is also on, Google may use that analytics data to measure our ads on Google, and we keep the ad click ID in the link you followed (such as fbclid from Facebook or Instagram, or gclid from Google) with our record of how you reached us, so we can see which ad an order or enquiry came from.

These providers process this data on their own servers, which may be located outside India. If you are under 18, choose Essential only, and ask a parent or guardian to place your order.

You can change your choice or withdraw consent at any time using Cookie preferences at the bottom of any page. Turning a tool off stops it and deletes the cookies it set on our site, and the campaign details it let us keep on your device; cookies a provider keeps on its own domain can be removed in your browser settings. To opt out of Google Analytics across all websites you can install Google’s opt-out browser add-on. Browsing data held by Google, Microsoft and Meta is linked to a cookie ID on your device rather than to your name or email (apart from the hashed order details sent to Meta, described above); turning the tool off deletes that ID from our site. How you reached us, once saved with an order, enquiry or checkout you sent us, is linked to your name and contact details and stays with that record; turning analytics off deletes only the copy on your device. To have it erased, or for anything else, write to [email protected] from the email or phone linked to your orders.

WhatsApp Communications

We use the WhatsApp Business Platform (Cloud API), provided by Meta, to message customers. We may contact you on WhatsApp about:

  • your orders and payment confirmations;
  • shipping and delivery updates;
  • returns and exchanges; and
  • customer support queries.

We send promotional or offer messages on WhatsApp only to customers who have opted in to receive them.

To do this we use your name, phone number, order details and the messages exchanged between you and us. Messages are sent through Meta’s WhatsApp Business Platform and stored securely in our internal customer support system. We do not sell this data, or share it with third parties for their own marketing.

You can opt out of WhatsApp messages at any time by replying STOP or by contacting us, and you can ask us to delete your chat data (see Data Deletion below).

WhatsApp’s own use of your data is governed by WhatsApp’s Privacy Policy.

Data security & retention

We apply reasonable safeguards to protect your information and retain it only as long as necessary for the purposes described here or as required by law. When you delete your account, we remove or anonymise the personal data associated with it, except where we must keep certain records (for example, for tax or accounting) as required by law.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you can opt out of marketing emails at any time. To make a request - including deleting your account and the Google sign-in data linked to it - email [email protected].

You can also ask us to complete or update your data, and nominate someone to act for you if you die or become unable to. Requests, privacy questions and complaints go to our Grievance Officer, Skwii Retail Private Limited, Plot No. A/74, GIDC Elect, Sector No. 25, Sector 24, Gandhinagar, Gujarat 382024, India - email [email protected]. We reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our reply, or don’t get one in that time, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023; its online complaint platform isn’t open yet, and we will link it here once it is.

Data Deletion

You can ask us to delete the personal data we hold about you - including your account, order-related personal details and your WhatsApp chat history - at any time:

  • By email: write to [email protected] with the subject “Data deletion request”, from the email address or with the phone number linked to your orders.
  • On WhatsApp: message us on WhatsApp from the number linked to your orders and ask for your data to be deleted.

We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting on a request. We’ll confirm once your data has been deleted, usually within 30 days. Some records (for example, invoices needed for tax or accounting) must be kept for the period required by law, and we retain only what is needed for that purpose.
